We have to start by saying that ranking the girls is HARD. With so many international recruits, it is challenging to compare tournament results and rankings for players in different parts of the world. Instead of having a top-10 this year, we ended up with a top-12 due to an abundance of similar recruiting classes. We’ve tried our best to sift through various rankings metrics and tournament results to determine the best twelve. There is a clear top-2, with Stanford and Oregon solidly ahead of the pack, followed by many teams with solid talent. You may not agree with the order, but we can all agree that these girls are good!
1. Stanford University: It’s amazing how Stanford can continue to bring in outstanding recruiting classes year after year, although the school is lucky to have a large pool of talent in its home state. This year, they welcome two American top-5 athletes, Nikki Oh and Jude Lee. Californian Oh is a golfer who began her ascent in the rankings in 2022 and has continued the upward trend to be the clear third ranked golfer on this list. Oh's big win in 2024 was her victory at the Arizona Women's Amateur and she shone in major junior events, with top-5s at the 2024 AJGA Ping Invitational, Rolex TOC, and Toyota World Junior. Oh notched several top-10 finishes at the 2024 World Junior Championship and two AJGA Invitationals each in 2023 & 2024. Additionally, Oh placed in the top-15 at the prestigious Junior Invitational at Sage Valley and won the 2023 Arizona Silver Belle. At the US Women's Amateur, she qualified in 2024 and reached the round of 16 in 2023. In 2025 she has carded top-5 finishes at the AJGA Fortinet & Mizuho Invitationals, top-10s at the Junior Invitational and Junior Worlds, and a match play appearance at the US Girls Junior. Her future teammate Lee has also collected numerous accolades over the years. Lee followed several open AJGA successes in 2024 with a win at the 2024 Thunderbird Heather Farr and added another top-3 result in that year. Lee made the quarterfinals of the 2024 AJGA RLX Rolex Classic and carded top-10 finishes at the 2024 Rolex Girls Championship, Nelly Invitational, and the Dustin Johnson World Junior. She demonstrated more consistent play in 2024 with top-15 leaderboard appearances in two AJGA Invitationals. Lee also qualified for the 2023 US Women's Amateur and the 2025 US Women's Open, in which she had a respectable showing. She finished in the top-10 at the 2025 Junior Invitational and the Junior PGA Championship, and the top-5 at the AJGA Mizuho. Expect this due to challenge for lineup spots in 2026.
2. University of Oregon: The Ducks will welcome one of the top international recruits in this class, Prim Prachnakorn of Thailand, who hovers around the top-50 in WAGR. Prachnokorn has made a habit of winning in Asia, with six wins in 2025 and two in 2024. She finished 6th in the 2025 & 2024 Toyota Junior World Cups and has six additional top-5 finishes in Asian junior and amateur events in 2025. Her most notable finish is 2nd at the Queen Sirikit Cup in Japan, followed by her top-5 at the APGC Junior Championship. She will bolster an already stacked Ducks lineup. Prachnakorn will be joined by top-10 American Celina Yeo, another Californian. Yeo has been in and out of our individual top-10 for the past year and a half due to her consistent play. She likes the AJGA Rolex Girls Championship, finishing in the top-5 in 2024 & 2025. Her top-10 finishes include the 2024 & 2025 Fortinet Championships and the 2025 Ping Invitational. Yeo was in the top-15 at the 2024 Kathy Whitworth and was in the top-5 at the 2024 Golf Ontario Amateur. She qualified for the 2024 US Women's Amateur and had an AJGA open top-3 finish in 2024. Similar to Stanford, both players should challenge for lineup time in their first year.
3. Wake Forest University: The Demon Deacons have been in the top-10 on this list for a while but have recently climbed higher to the third spot due to improved play from their recruits. New Jersey's Vidhi Lakhawala entered our top-10 individual list late, after a string of steady tournaments. She has carded a top-10 finish at the 2024 AJGA Fortinet Invitational and top-15 results at the 2024 Junior PGA & 2025 Nelly Invitational. Lakhawala won the New Jersey Junior Amateur and an open AJGA event in 2025 and had a top-3 in an AJGA open in 2024. Her top-5 finish at the 2025 New Jersey Women's Amateur bumped her into the top-10 and Lakhawala also reached match play at the 2024 US Girls Junior. She has found consistent success in mid-level junior events, with top-5s at the 2023 Donald Ross, 2024 Western, and the 2025 Dye Junior Invitational. Lakhawala broke through in a major event with a top-5 at the AJGA Ninja Invitational and solidified her position on this list with a top-5 finish at the 2025 Junior PGA and a win at the Women’s Western Junior. Joining her is Benedicte Brent-Buckholtz of Denmark, a player who has risen in the WAGR rankings this year, close to the top-200. In 2025, her best finish was a top-10 at the Women's Amateur Championship. Brent-Petersen finished in the top-20 at the World Amateur Team Championship and has two amateur wins in Europe in 2024 & 2025. She had consistent success in big amateur events with a top-15 at the European Ladies Amateur and a top-5 result at the Spanish International Ladies Amateur. In 2024 she placed in the top-10 at the World Junior Girls Championship. Havana Torstensson of Sweden makes this year’s recruiting class a trio. Her best finish in 2025 is a top-5 at the Annika Invitational Europe, and she received an invitation to play at the Augusta Women’s Amateur. Torstensson won the R&A Girls Amateur in 2024 and carded three top-10 finishes in Europe in 2024.
4. University of Virginia: The Cavaliers bring in a class of three talented athletes led by #5 individually ranked American Zoe Cusack. A Maryland native, Cusack saw her recruiting stock rise sharply in the summer of 2024. She has produced numerous scores in the red with three AJGA open wins in 2024, including the Justin Thomas Junior Championship, and won the Maryland Girls Junior Amateur. Her biggest accomplishment was a 2nd place finish at the Junior North & South and she finished a solid top-15 at the Junior PGA Championship. Cusack had one PKBGT win and three top-3 results in 2024 and found herself in the top-5 at the 2024 Maryland Women's Amateur and the Sea Pines Junior Heritage. Cusack started 2025 with top-5 finishes at the Junior Orange Bowl and the Kathy Whitworth Invitational and won the PKBGT Spring Invitational. She made the round of 32 at the US Girls Junior and repeated as 2025 Maryland Junior Am champion, then had strong top-5 finishes at the Junior PGA Championship and AJGA Ninja Invitational. Expect her presence in the lineup in 2026. France’s Lily Reitter has made her way into the top-400 in WAGR in 2025, with three amateur and one junior event win in Europe in 2025. Her biggest win was the Wales Girls’ Amateur, and she also notched two amateur runner-up finishes in 2025. Reitter found herself raising a champion’s trophy four times in the 2024 season. She will form a formidable freshman duo with Cusack, but don’t forget about the Cavaliers’ third recruit, Miranda Lu. The Canadian plays in both Canada and the US and had two AJGA open runner-up finishes and one FJT win in 2025. She played in several NXXT amateur events, carding three top-3 finishes in 2025. Lu also includes one AJGA invitational top-10 and one top-15 finish on her resume.
5. University of Arkansas: The Razorbacks were a late addition to our top-10 following the commitment of WAGR top-40 ranked Sara Brentcheneff of France. Her top finishes in the US in 2025 are a round of 32 appearance in the US Women's Amateur and top-10 at the AJGA Annika Invitational. She finished in the top-15 at the World Amateur Team Championship and has found success in European professional events, with one win and a runner-up finish in 2025. Brentcheneff was 5th at the European Ladies Amateur and had top-3 finishes at the Spanish International Ladies Amateur and the Portuguese Ladies Amateur in early 2025. Notable in 2024 was her 6th place showing at the European Lades Amateur. She should make an immediate impact on the Razorback lineup. Her future teammate, Melliyal Schmitt, also hails from France, extending the international presence on the Razorback team. Schmitt is well-travelled and has five wins in Africa and France in 2025 in addition to a top-5 placement at the Wales Girls Amateur. In her lone US tournament, she was 2nd at the 2024 Miami Doral Junior Classic, after carding two amateur wins in France in 2024. We have a feeling that her top-800 WAGR ranking doesn’t do her game justice
6. Northwestern University: The Wildcats make a big jump into our top-10 with the late commitment switch of Ann-Sophie Bourgault. Canadian Bourgault entered our individual top-10 list following a steady string of successful tournaments. She has two top-5 finishes in high profile events, the 2025 Dustin Johnson World Junior and the 2024 Scott Robertson Memorial. She started 2025 off consistently with three AJGA top-3 finishes, following one in 2024. She notched top-10 finishes at the AJGA Nelly and Mizuho Invitationals. Bourgault also won a FJT event in 2024 and finished in the top-5 at the Elite Invitational. She has found success in amateur events, including top-5 finishes in both the 2025 & 2024 Dixie Amateurs, and a win at the Quebec Provincial Amateur. Bougault added a top-5 finish in the summer of 2025 at the Canadian Girls Junior. Her future teammate, Rebecca Wang, hails from China and is in the top-400 in WAGR rankings. She has focused mainly on professional and amateur events since late 2024, with one professional win and four top-5 finishes in China. Wang was runner-up at the ANGA Amateur this past summer and was in the top-20 at the North and South and Southwestern Amateurs. Her 2024 results include one AJGA open win, one runner-up, and two top-10 finishes. This duo will contend for lineups at the 2025 NCCA champion Northwestern.
7. Auburn University: The Tigers bring in a trio of strong players to their 2026 class, with two international golfers in the top-400 of WAGR. Zara Anand of India has carded two professional runner-up finishes in her home country in the past few months, along with a top-10 at the Queen Sirikit Cup. She has one top-5 and one top-10 in Asian amateur events in 2025, in addition to three wins and five top-5 s in 2024. Anand had two FCG runner-up finishes in the US in 2024 and was top-15 that year in the Queen Sirit Cup. Her future teammate Gia Raad Hails from South Africa and has several big wins on her resume. In 2024 she won the South Africa Women's Amateur Championship, following her triumph at the 2023 English Girls Open Amateur. Raad also credits three wins and four runner-up finishes in South Africa to her name in 2025 & 2024. Traveling to the US, she finished 5th at the 2024 Junior Orange Bowl and had a top-10 at the 2024 AJGA Annika/Hilton Grand Vacations Invitational. She finished in the top-15 at the 2024 Toyota Junior World Cup. Joining the two internationals is American Kallyn Black, a player with one AGJA win, a top-10, and an invitational top-10 in 2025. She was quite successful on the AJGA circuit in 2024, with one open win, three top-5s and a Ping Invitational top-10 finish. Black was 5th at the Georgia Girls Junior in 2024.
8. University of Mississippi: Ole Miss brings in a talented duo with American Lisa Herman and Swede Ebba Lundqvist. Herman was in our North American top-10 list for the majority of the time since 2026 recruiting began, just slipping out of the rankings towards the end of the signing day timeline. Herman ended 2023 with a top-5 finish at the AJGA Rolex TOC and followed that AJGA Invitational success with one top-5, two top-10, and two top-15 invitational finishes in 2024. Her resume includes four AJGA open runner-up finishes in 2024 & 2025 in addition to a third-place finish at the 2025 Oklahoma Women’s Amateur. She finds success at the Junior PGA Championship, with a top-10 in 2025 and top-15 finish in 2024. Herman’s consistency should warrant a spot in the Ole Miss lineup. Lundqvist had two wins and four top-5 finishes in Swedish junior events in 2025 and a strong 15th place finish in the European Ladies Amateur. She was in the top-10 at the Spanish International Stroke Play in the past two years in addition to two other top-10s in European amateur events in 2025. Lunqvist ended 2025 with a 13th place result at the World Junior Girls Championship.
9. Louisiana State University: The Tigers welcome a class of two that includes top-100 WAGR ranked Raegan Denton, who hails from Australia and has five junior or amateur wins since the beginning of 2024 in her home country. She finished 10th at the Women's Australian Master of the Amateurs and has placed in the top half of two Australian professional events. Also notable is her 3rd place result at the 2025 Australian Women's Amateur. Denton made match play at the US Girls Junior and was in the top-20 at Junior Worlds. Complementing Denton is her future teammate is Denmark’s Victoria Kristensen. She has one top-5 and one top-10 finish in Danish amateur events in 2025, along with one win in 2024.
10. University of Texas: The Longhorns gain a strong class of two who are both in the top-25 of junior rankings metrics. Shyla Brown finished just outside our top-10 individuals, with an impressive tournament resume. She was in the top-5 of the Southwest Airlines Showcase in 2023 & 2024 and was fourth at the 2024 Texas Women’s Stroke Play and in an AJGA open event. She shined at the 2024 US Girls Junior, making the round of 16, and was in the top-10 of the 2025 Sea Island Women’s Amateur. Brown recently had her first AJGA invitational top-10 at the Ninja Invitational and had an AJGA open runner-up finish this year. Joining her will be Amy Lee, an accomplished player who hails from South Korea but primarily plays in the US. Lee won the British Columbia Amateur in 2025 and the Pacific Northwest Junior Amateur in 2024. She was runner-up at the 2024 AJGA Fortinet Girls and two AJGA invitational top-15s on her resume. Her accomplishments include four AJGA open top-5 finishes in 2024 & 2025 and a top-10 at the 2025 Scott Robertson Memorial. These two talents are a strong addition to the Longhorn squad.
11. University of Southern California: The perennial top-10 Trojans add two solid players to their roster in 2026. Washington's Angela Zhang has continued building her golf resume in the last year, with three open AJGA wins. In 2024, she notched top-10 finishes at the Junior PGA Championship and IMG Junior Worlds. She found AJGA success with one open win in 2025 and two top-3 finishes in 2024. Zhang has found success in amateur competition, narrowly missing match play at the 2024 US Women's Amateur and finishing in the top-5 at the Washington Women's Am. Zhang also finished in the top-10 at the 2025 Sally and had a top-5 finish in the 2023 Citrus Trail Amateur, and added a top-5 result at the CGA Amateur Stroke Play. Joining Zhang is Sophia Lin, who reclassed from 2027 to 2026. From Chinese Taipei, Lin had five top-3 and three top-10 finishes in her home country in 2025. She played in numerous tournaments in the US in 2024, with top-10s at the North & South Junior and Women’s Western Junior and 16th at the Junior PGA Championship. The Trojans will welcome these lineup challengers to their squad.
12. University of Georgia: The Bulldogs will gain a trio of talent in 2025, with two American top-40 ranked players and a strong international player.
