5. Jaden Soong: Californian Soong's biggest finish is at top-5 at the 2025 AJGA Ping Invitational, and he has also collected top-10 showings at the 2026 AJGA Team Taylormade Invitational and the 2025 ALGA RLX Ralph Lauren Classic (quarterfinalist). He followed his 2025 RLX showing with a semifinal appearance in 2026. Soong competes frequently at high level Invitationals and is looking to enter the top-15 on the leaderboards with more consistency in 2026.

1. Chase Bauer: At the top of our list is Floridian Bauer, a golfer who started off the 2026 season with a top-5 at the Dustin Johnson World Junior and top-10s at the AJGA Simplify Boys Championship and Wyndham Invitational. His biggest accolade was at an amateur event, The New Year’s Invitational, in which he finished runner-up. In 2025, Bauer notched an AJGA win and two wins on the Florida Junior Tour. He put his name on the recruiting map by reaching the round of 16 at the 2025 US Junior Amateur.

2. Rory Asselta: New Jersey’s Asselta has found his name on leaderboards in the past year, with top-10 finishes at the Junior Jones Cup and the North & South Junior, and top-5 at the 2026 Junior Orange Bowl. He broke through with a win in the match play event AJGA RLX Ralph Lauren Jr Classic. He recently notched a top-15 finish at the AJGA Team Taylormade Invitational and had success in 2025 with a top-10 at the Southern Junior. Asselta raised the winner’s trophy at the National High School Invitational and had two AJGA open top-3 finishes.

4. Jude Xu: California Xu had top-10 finishes at the 2025 AJGA Team Taylormade Invitational and 2026 Western Junior. He has carded two Toyota Tour Cup wins since November of 2025, and has also collected three regional top-3 finishes in 2025 & 2026. Xu has two AJGA open top-3 finishes on his resume in 2025 & 2026, and was in the top-15 at the 2026 Wyndham Invitational.

T8. Ryan Nana Tanke: Floridian Nana Tanke's best finish is a top-10 at the 2026AJGA Team Taylormade Invitational. He won an open AJGA event in April of 2026 and his resume includes an AJGA open top-3 finish and three top-finishes in Florida since the beginning of 2025. Nana Tanke has carded top-15 finishes at the 2026 Scott Robertson Memorial and the 2025 Bubba Conlee.
3. Grayson Baucom: North Carolina’s Baucom started 2026 with a bang, with a win at the AJGA Simplify Boys Championship and a top-5 finish at the Dustin Johnson. Baucom first made a name for himself with a win at the 2025 Scott Robertson Memorial and followed it with a top-10 at the AJGA Ping Invitational and top-15 at the 2025 AJGA Junior Players Championship and 2026 Wyndham Invitational. He had two AJGA open wins in 2025.

6. Ambrose Kinnare: Florida's Kinnare has found a lot of success at the Regional level in Florida, with six wins in 2025 and 2026 in FJT and NFJG events. In that time period, he has amassed five top-3 placements on the same tours. In 2026, he has two AJGA open top-3 finishes. We'd love to see what Kinnare can accomplish at a national, elite stage.
6/27: Bauer continues to hold the top spot, adding a top-10 finish at the Wyndham Invitational. Asselta is right on his heels after winning the RLX Ralph Lauren Junior Classic. Baucom holds steady in third with a top-15 finish at the Wyndham. Xu and Soong are now solidly in fourth and fifth, with Soong making the semis at the RLX and Xu finding the top-10 at the Western Junior and top-15 at the Wyndham. Lynch enters the top-10 after carding a top-15 finish at the Wyndham.
Ranking system, explained: We assign point values to wins, top-5, top-10, and top-15 finishes in top junior and amateur events within a two year time span. AJGA open events and regional tournaments have been assigned lesser point values, as well as top-3 finishes, and points are subtracted for finishes outside the top-20 in the top junior events. Points adjustments are considered for players who play significantly less or more tournaments than others, and percentage of top finishes are evaluated. Our system rewards consistency of steady performance rather than an athlete with a few great finishes but several sub-par finishes. Events in the past year have more weight than tournaments in the previous year.

7. JP Lynch: Lynch jumps into the top-10 with a top-10 finish at the 2025 Junior Worlds and top-15 at the 2026 Wyndham Invitational. He won the 2025 Amundi Evian Senior Showcase and had top-3 finishes in two LJT events and an AJGA Junior All-Star event in 2025.
T8. Karl Stenson: Florida's Stenson does not play often, but has played well when he does. He is another local Florida product who we hope to excel on the big stage soon. Stenson has three FLT wins on his resume in 2025 & 2026, along with one top-3 finish.
10. Ainslie Stanford: Stanford, an Oklahoma native, won the 2026 Oklahoma Junior Championship and the 2025 All State Sugar Bowl. Playing mostly locally in Oklahoma, he had four regional top-3 finishes in 2025. We'd love to see him compete on the national stage.
