Class of 2026: Georgia is currently winning the recruiting game on the boys side, as they nabbed their third commit in this class with JGS #6 ranked Mason Howell. Howell had a very strong summer, with two AJGA Invitational top-5 finishes and 5th place at the Western Junior. He was solid in stroke play at the US Junior Amateur, finishing 12th. The Bulldogs are the only program with two top-10 recruits, two home-grown products. The Arkansas Razorbacks continue their international class, adding Sweden's Neo Berg to their future roster. He will join Lev Grinberg on the 2026 squad. On the girls' side, another top-10 recruit found her future home, as Shyla Brown committed to Texas. The home-state commit is the first 2026 recruit for the Longhorns. She won the Kathy Whitworth Invitational and had a strong run to the round of 16 at the US Girls Junior.

Class of 2025: A new coach at Cal Berkeley means new recruits, as JGS #56 recruit Trevor Cox will join the Bears in 2025. Cox was 6th at the IMG Junior Worlds and had one top-5 and two top-10s in AJGA open events in 2024.

Class of 2026: Official visit season is ramping up with the start of college football, as football games are a centerpiece to most college visits. Numerous top players have committed in the past week, led by JGS top-10 ranked players Tyler Mawhinney (Vanderbilt) and Hamilton Coleman (Georgia). Mawhinney, the Canadian Men's Amateur champion, follows Vanderbilt's top ranked 2025 class, which should have a stacked lineup come 2026. Coleman, who recently won the AJGA Junior Players Championship, joins Drew Woolworth in this class, which is sure to be ranked in our initial top-10 2026 recruiting classes. UGA has a strong top-10 recruit in its 2025 class, so watch out for this team in a few years. There was big news at UNC Chapel Hill this week when JGS #12 Asher Vargas committed to the Tarheels, another team that is building strong lineups for the future. Vargas won the Wyndham Invitational and was 2nd at the Junior PGA Championship this year. The Arkansas Razorbacks got themselves a winner in Lev Grinberg, a top commodity for the last several years. Grinberg hails from Ukraine and now Belgium, and had strong showings and both the US Amateur and US Junior this summer. Florida picked up its first commit of the 2026 class with top-100 player Austin Perkins. While his ranking might not be eye popping, he may have a strong upside after a solid summer including a win at the Connecticut Amateur. Arizona State added their 2nd international 2026 recruit in France's Oscar Couilleau, who sits at #343 in WAGR and has three amateur wins in his home country. On the girls' side, the JGS ranked 33 and 35 players announced their commitments, as Lucy Cook will attend Kentucky and Hannah Hall is committed to Kansas.

Class of 2025: Kathryn Ha, who is ranked #11 on JGS, surprised us with a commitment switch Virginia to Vanderbilt. She joins top-ranked teammate Elizabeth Rudisill in a recruiting class that jumped into the top-5 of our rankings.
